First time back to Dr Sketchy's for a while and I loved it! Only one model but that was fine as she was excellent and had a terrific costume. Looking forward to next time already.

Ornate Haunted Mirror

We wanted to design a mirror that looked like a classic ornate mirror frame from a distance, but on closer inspection was actually composed of many small action figures and toys. 

We have been trawling Poundland and junk shops for several weeks now picking up bits and pieces that we thought would look good. 

On the build day we started off by masking off the mirror glass and hot gluing the junk toys to the mirror frame. 

We then sprayed the backs of some of the bigger pieces with gold paint. We chose the bigger items that would be visible from more angles for this step, so we didn't end up with any visible bits that weren't gold coloured. 

we then sprayed the rest of the frame gold all over. This was the fun bit :)
